GREEN BAY - A man involved in an arson insurance fraud case was convicted Friday in a plea deal.
Adam Jaehnig will be sentenced April 16 in federal court in Green Bay for the Dec. 15, 2010, fire at a storage building in Denmark. Jaehnig worked with the property's lease-holder, Mathew Lemberger. Jaehnig faces 5-to-20 years in prison.
Lemberger was paid $325,000 by his insurance company, according to a criminal complaint. Lemberger, who faces three charges, has a change-of-plea hearing scheduled for Friday.
Police also recently implicated Lemberger for a 2006 arson at his Manitowoc home, but the statute of limitations expired on that case and he will not be prosecuted for it.
