GREEN BAY - Hundreds of students in the Green Bay area joined together to share their love of music.
It was part of the Green Bay Area Public School District All City Honor Band.
The students performed last night at the Weidner Center.
The free concert featured three bands - 6th, 7th and 8th grades performed together and then high school students.
Every other year, school officials nominate some of their top band students.
The bands also paid tribute to the armed forces.
The show's director says the concert isn't just about music, it's about being diverse.
"We want these students to be diverse, so they can play all different styles of music and be educated as well as they have to watch each other's band performances, so they're learning to be a good audience member," said Kevin Van Ess.
FOX 11 sports director Drew Smith and Packers Hall of Famer Johnnie Gray served as emcees for the concert.
