Ashwaubenon traffic stop ends in death
Police say driver shot self twice

ASHWAUBENON - Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers are investigating a suicide in the parking lot of the Citgo Gas Station on Ridge Rd., just across from Lambeau Field, in the village.
Officials say Brown County sheriff's deputies were following a white SUV with an outstanding warrant.
Following a short pursuit, Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers tell FOX 11 the suspect pulled into the gas station by the pumps, got out, and shot himself twice. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting happened around 2:45 pm Saturday. Police shut down the gas station for about an hour, keeping people away with police tape and officers.
Details about the victim's identity have not been released.
The investigation continues.
