GREEN BAY - Wednesday's 12-12-12 frenzy is about more than just Aaron Rodgers to a De Pere couple.
The six-pound, seven-ounce baby boy wasn't due until the 27th, but apparently he decided that was just too long to wait.
"Little bit early, but we're happy for that. Not so close to Christmas," said Shanna Allen.
Already dressed in green and gold, Trae Roger Allen was born on 12-12-12 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
But that's not all. He was born at 12:12 in the afternoon.
"All of a sudden it was two big pushes and they lifted him up and looked at the clock and it was 12:12:40 and that was it," said his father Roger Allen.
"It was super, super random and we all were just joking about it this morning that maybe that would happen, never thinking it actually would," explained his mother Shanna.
The couple says the unique timing was completely coincidental. However being die-hard Packers fans makes it even more special, especially since their first son Grant has ties to the Pack too.
"I mean Grant was born five days before they won the Super Bowl two years ago so now I’m hoping this is a sign, that's what I'm hoping," Roger said.
Despite some pressure to go a different route, the couple says Trae Roger Allen was named after his father, not the MVP.
"Not Aaron Rodgers, no," Trae's dad said.
Trae was among more than a dozen other babies to share the same birthday at the hospital according to the physician.
But he was the only one delivered at 12:12 pm.
