ASHWAUBENON - People laced up their bowling shoes Saturday, all for a good cause.
The 35th annual Bowl for Kids' Sake took place at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley.
The event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin.
This year's event theme was "Superheroes," and people could dress up as their favorite one.
Organizers say this is their largest annual fundraiser and inspires people to help give back.
"It's really nice too because the other bowlers who are just out here for a good time and good cause, they get a chance to meet the kids, the "bigs" and "littles," and the matches that they're actually helping," said events and marketing director Barbara Koldos.
Organizers say they hope to reach their goal this year of $95 thousand.
