GREEN BAY - Brown County authorities say they are dealing with new drug trends.
The county Drug Task Force released its 2012 report Thursday, saying 616 people were arrested last year.
That's an increase of more than 16 percent from the year before.
Officers also seized more than $1.5 million in drugs.
Officials say cocaine and ecstasy seizures were down from 2011.
They also say more synthetic drug busts were made and note that high-grade marijuana availability has increased dramatically.
In addition, seizure of narcotic prescription drugs were up nearly 50 percent and seizures of heroin were up approximately 235 percent.
