Cheeseheads casting for reality show

Stadium View hosts Thursday casting call

ASHWAUBENON - Are you a cheesehead and proud of it? A new reality TV show could be your big break.

For five hours at Stadium View Bar, the reality TV production company, Good Clean Fun, held auditions for a new docu-series. It is centered on the Wisconsin culture and lifestyle.

Good Clean Fun currently has shows airing on MTV and Style.

“There are no fans like Packers fans,” said Mark Madson, who auditioned for the show. “We're trying to prove that and prove that in a very positive way.”

Cameras weren’t allowed inside the auditions. Producers holding the auditions also would not do interviews. They say a lot about the show needs to remain confidential because it's still in development.

“They are keeping it really vague because I think it just depends on what they find,” said Amanda Watson of Stadium View.

Watson says she has been in contact with the show's producers for a few weeks.

“Basically what they are trying to do is find people from Wisconsin that have big personalities,” said Watson. “They want to find groups of people or couples.”

The production company has a network lined up for the show, but isn't saying which one. The show might not even make air. It relies heavily on what producers find at Stadium View.

“They first asked me of course what made me a Packer fan,” said Madson. “And how I feel what my work ethics are, what my core beliefs are as an American, as a person from Wisconsin, how I want to represent the state of Wisconsin.”

“We're unique,” said Greg Jenss of Green Bay. “It's part of the reason I think I should be included in this whole process.”

Stadium View officials say the production company is expected to have cameras around the Lambeau area this weekend.
