GREEN BAY (AP) - A nationwide bus tour urging the U.S. Senate to take up on clean energy legislation is set to stop in Wisconsin.

The BlueGreen Alliance, a partnership involving labor unions and environmental organizations, began its 17-state tour on Aug. 16 in California. The tour is set to end in Richmond, Va., on Sept. 3.

The tour is scheduled to stop in Madison on Wednesday morning and in Green Bay later in the afternoon. The Green Bay visit will feature a news conference with officials from the Wisconsin state AFL-CIO and the Sierra Club's Wisconsin chapter.
