DE PERE - A marathon might be tough work, unless you get to laugh the whole time... and it was all for a good cause.
The top five CW14 star hopefuls spent the day testing out their improv skills in De Pere.
It's part of Comedy City 28 hour Marathon of Comedy. That's 28 hours of non-stop improvisational comedy.
The event is a fundraiser for two local charities - the Angel Fund and Families of Children with Cancer.
Organizers said it's great to mix in comedy, all while giving back.
"It's a way for us to give a little bit back to the community. We have so much fun with our shows, we got some of the most amazing fans on the planet, and so we're combining these two things and having a ton of fun doing it," said Gary Radke of Comedy City.
In the seven years its worked with charities, Comedy City has raised more than $32 thousand.
Organizers said they hope to raise about $5 thousand this year.
