GREEN BAY - A Green Bay man charged with the death of a toddler has been ordered to stand trial.

Daniel Vega, 29, is facing charges of reckless homicide and child abuse. Police say in August, Vega caused head injuries to his girlfriend's 13-month-old daughter. The girl was found unresponsive in her bed in an apartment on Green Bay's west side. Vega was arrested in Arizona in September.

At a preliminary hearing Wednesday, a judge decided there was enough evidence to send Vega to trial. He is due back in court to enter a plea to the charges Feb. 21.
