Danz Elementary earns NFL honor

GREEN BAY - A Green Bay grade school has been named an “NFL PLAY 60 Super School.”

As part of the honor, Danz Elementary School will receive a $10,000 grant for health and wellness programming or equipment. Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk is also scheduled to visit the school on Dec. 4.

Thirty-three other schools across the nation were also named “NFL Play 60 Super Schools” for showing NFL spirit and dedication to youth health and wellness.
