DE PERE - A Republican state senator has another view of President Obama's visit to our area Thursday.

State Senator Alberta Darling says Governor Scott Walker's statewide victories this year and in 2010 show the president is vulnerable in Wisconsin.

“If people are concerned about jobs and the economy, the question is can we take four more years of President Obama? And the answer is if you care about jobs and the economy is no,” said Darling, R-River Hills.
