Gardipee pleads not guilty
Oct. 30 trial date set

GREEN BAY - Richard Gardipee pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the June murder of his live-in girlfriend.
Police identified the murder victim as Wendy Garcia but friends and family say she used the name Wendy Botsford.
According to a criminal complaint, Gardipee admitted to police he stabbed Garcia with a kitchen knife at their home. Gardipee told authorities it happened after the couple started to fist fight about Gardipee taking pain killers.
The trial is scheduled to start Oct. 30.
