GREEN BAY - Green Bay police are warnings residents of a "Grandparents Scam."
Authorities say the suspects called an elderly person from Green Bay, said they were a family member having problems in Mexico and needed money sent to them immediately.
The would be victim realized that it was a scam and stopped it before any money had been sent.
Police say if you have fallen victim to this scam contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
