GREEN BAY - Good news for people who ordered Girl Scout cookies this year. The wait is almost over.
Volunteers were busy unloading more than 5,600 cases of the famous cookies in Green Bay Saturday.
The cookies will be delivered throughout the Green Bay Metro area.
From Shortbread to Thin Mints, each troop's "Cookie Moms" crammed their vehicles full of the famous snack.
Organizers said the cookie operation is like a well-oiled machine.
"They set up a delivery time, there's a schedule set up and they come, like I said, every three minutes. They know where to go and the only manual part yet is right here, just loading up the cookies," said service area cookie manager Bonnie Denamur.
If you didn't order any Girl Scout cookies, there's still time to snatch some up.
Scouts are taking orders through March 20th.
Troops will be hosting Cookie Booths March 1st through the 24th.
