GREEN BAY - Green Bay police are investigating a suspicious car fire.
It happened around 1:15 a.m. last Thursday in the 1700 block of Smith Street.
Police say the fire was quickly extinguished and no one was hurt.
About $2,000 in damage was done to the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire.
The investigation shows the fire was intentionally set.
Anyone with any information about this case is asked to call Detective Fred Laitinen with the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3401, or Captain Joe Gabe with the Green Bay Fire Department at (920) 448-3289.
You can also call The Arson Hotline at (800) 362-3005. The Hotline allows an individual to remain anonymous and provides awards up to $5,000 for person providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
