GREEN BAY - Some people on Green Bay’s east side got an accidental inside look at the Green Bay Packers.
Pages of the team’s playbook were found along Monroe Ave. Monday morning. A team spokesman says the pages were likely thrown in a recycling bin at team headquarters.
Waste Management, the company that handles the recycling, says about two cubic yards of a load fell from one of its trucks. The company is still looking into what happened. Nothing was damaged and no one was hurt.
If opposing teams are hoping to get a leg up on scouting the Packers, they’ll be disappointed. Team officials say they do not have heightened concerns about these papers being in the public’s hands. Team employees shred sensitive papers.
The Packers ask that anyone who finds the papers recycle them.
