GREEN BAY - The City of Green Bay has filed its response to a lawsuit by the Oneida Seven Generations Corp. after the city revoked a permit for a trash-to-energy plant.
In it, the city "affirmatively alleges that the City exercised its lawful authority and that its decision is supported by substantial evidence in the record." The city also says "the City properly exercised its discretion in deciding to rescind or void the (conditional use permit)" it gave to the facility.
The city also asks for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
No court dates have been scheduled.
