GREEN BAY - A lockdown at some Green Bay schools is over. It lasted about 45 minutes.

It began just after 2 p.m. Monday. It affected the East High School area and included elementary and middle schools.

The district issued what it calls a level two precautionary lockdown after police notified it of a possible suicidal man with a knife.

After the lockdown was lifted the district said in a statement: "We thank you for your patience and understanding in helping keep your children safe. Please keep in mind all action we take is in the best interest of the safety of all students."
