GREEN BAY - The operator of a Green Bay homeless shelter is headed to trial on allegations of welfare fraud.
Manuelus Reacco, who has run the men's shelter The Transformation House, will enter a plea Jan. 25.
Prosecutors say Reacco used residents' individual FoodShare cards to buy food for the entire shelter, which violates state law.
If convicted, Reacco faces jail time and several thousand dollars in fines.
