LOS ANGELES (AP) - Green Day is going back out on the road, but is canceling its concert at the Resch Center.

The Grammy-winning punk band announced new tour dates as well as cancellations Monday.

Green Day was originally scheduled to play the Resch on January 7.

The band canceled the rest of its 2012 club schedule and postponed the start of a 2013 arena tour after singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong's substance abuse problems emerged publicly in September when he had a profane meltdown on the stage of the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

Anyone who purchased a ticket for the Resch show with credit card will automatically receive a credit to their account by the end of this week.

Customers who purchased a ticket by cash or check will need to bring the tickets to the Resch Center box office for a refund or must mail the tickets to the following address with their contact information:

P.O. Box 10567
Green Bay, WI 54307

Armstrong told fans in a statement Monday that he's "getting better every day" and "we are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”

The 2013 tour is scheduled to begin March 28 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago area.

The band released its most recent album, "Tre," on Dec. 11, more than a month ahead of schedule.
