Grenier named public works director

GREEN BAY - The City of Green Bay has selected a new public works director after a national search.

Steven Grenier has been with the city since 2007 and currently serves as the assistant public works director.

He will replace Ed Wiesner who has served the city for more than 32 years and has been director since July 2009. Wiesner will retire in December.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for snow removal, street cleaning/maintenance, traffic control, sewer maintenance, parking, engineering along with leaf and garbage pickup.
