HOWARD - Brown County sheriff’s officials are looking for the person who robbed a Howard gas station at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Deputies were called to the Taylor Street BP, 130 S. Taylor St., just after 4:30 p.m.  They say the robber walked in, showed a gun and asked, “where’s the money bag?” The clerk handed him a bag full of about $300 in cash. The robber then told the clerk to lie down on the ground before he ran away.

Deputies searched for the robber, even using dogs, but could not find him.

The robber was described as a black man, around 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, a black beanie cap, and had a black-and-white bandana covering his face. The gun was a silver handgun.

The cash bag was blue, with the words “video bag” written on it in black marker.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Brown County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 448-4230.
