GREEN BAY - Two Green Bay hospitals are being united under the same leadership.
The Hospital Sisters Health System Division – Eastern Wisconsin has announced that Larry Connors will serve as the chief operating officer of both St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Connors has been with St. Mary’s since 1993 and has served as the hospital’s COO for the last five years. Connors will succeed Tom Bayer at St. Vincent. In turn, Bayer has been named senior vice president of regional development for the system.
“Expanding Larry’s role is part of our system strategy to simplify administration while standardizing best practices across our hospitals,” Therese Pandl, HSHS divisional president and CEO, said in a news release. “By operating our two Green Bay hospitals as one organization, we can drive the same exemplary level of care at both hospitals while maximizing efficiency across our system.”
“In his new role, Tom will help us provide better care to communities throughout Northeast Wisconsin,” Dr. Ashok Rai, president and CEO of Prevea Health, said in a news release. “His work has already been instrumental in bringing specialty care to other communities. As he works to further develop these relationships, the accessibility and quality of healthcare throughout Northeast Wisconsin will only get better.”
