GREEN BAY - Green Bay's Libertas Treatment Center has a new leader.
Barbara Coniff has been named director of the facility, replacing Pat Ryan, who retired in November.
Coniff joins Libertas from ThedaCare, where she served in several management positions. She worked as a reporter here at WLUK-TV in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
"Libertas offers the opportunity to continue to work a behavioral health environment for which I have great passion - serving adolescents, adults and families," Coniff said in a news release. "It's wonderful to be able to spend more time in Green Bay, where I have lived for 25 years, as well as to create stronger connections with our Libertas outpatient clinics in Mariette and Sheboygan."
Libertas provides chemical dependency treatment to those in need and their families. It also provides skills to overcome addiction. Libertas programs are services of St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
