It was likely one of the last calm moments at Stadium View Bar and Grill for a few days.

"We've got more staff, more security, I'm bringing in friends in to bartend," said general manager Amanda Watson.

The Ashwaubenon sports bar is having two nights of Halloween festivities, Friday October 30 and on Saturday October 31, to accommodate both those in Green Bay and those coming in to town for Brett Favre's return. It has made preparing a guessing game.

"Nobody knows what to expect as to how many buns to order for the brats, if we're going to go through a lot of kraut or if maybe Vikings fans don't like kraut on their brats," said Watson with a laugh.

Kraut or no kraut, those with the Resch Center say just having more people in town is good for them.

"With the UW-Green Bay Phoenix basketball game Saturday and then you actually have a concert at Tom, Dick and Harry's, the club we manage, hopefully some people will spill to our events," said Terry Charles with PMI Entertainment Group, which books events for the venues.

The Green Bay Police Department says rivalry games like the Vikings tend to see the highest number of arrests. With many area bars open an hour later on Halloween, with daylight saving time, officers will be keeping a close eye out.

"We'll have some extra patrols out," said Capt. Todd Thomas.

"The officers are well aware of the hour change. The extra hour of drinking sometimes causes a problem."

Ashwaubenon Public Safety says bars in the village, Like Stadium View, are not allowed to stay open the extra hour with daylight savings.

"Our perspective is it is just less puke clean-up," said Watson.

"It's usually just water at the end of the night anyway, so no extra money to be made in that hour."

Ashwaubenon Public Safety says it has all hands-on-deck for most Packers home game and this one will be no exception.
