ASHWAUBENON - The search continues for a man who allegedly drew a gun and pointed it at others after losing money gambling.
Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 900 block of Willard Dr.
Green Bay Police, Oneida Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department were called in to assist. The SWAT team’s armored vehicle also responded to assist removing people from a nearby daycare center.
Responding law enforcement was told that a group of people were drinking and gambling in the apartment. One of the people became angry when he lost his money and allegedly drew a handgun, pointed it at the others and demanded their money. When police were called the man ran away.
The people who reported the situation were uncooperative with police and would not identify the suspect but called him “Snoop.” He is described as a light skinned black man, approximately 19 years old, between 5’2” and 5’5” and approximately 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing a silver colored fluffy vest over a light grey shirt, thin mustache, a large tattoo on the back of his neck and two teardrop tattoos on his face.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the public.
