GREEN BAY - Two former Marines from Pulaski participated in a hike to remember.
One hundred miles to be exact!
Shannon Anker and Chad Hintz walked from Rib Mountain to Green Bay.
They finished the journey today, even running the last leg!
The walk was to bring awareness to troops overseas, and to raise money for care packages.
As former Marines, both say they appreciated the support from back home.
"We know how it brightens up your day, it gives you a little pep in your step, raises your morale a little, and let's you know that people still at home are thinking about you," Hintz said.
So far, the men have raised a little over $2,000.
They say every penny counts.
