New homes tour offers building ideas

BROWN COUNTY - Looking for some building or remodeling ideas?

The Brown County Home Builder Association's Spring Showcase of New Homes kicked off this weekend.

More than 41 homes are on the tour, at various locations throughout Brown County.

All of the homes are brand new, and vacant - some of which are for sale at a variety of price ranges.

The event gives people a chance to get home ideas and tips.

"It's to show the new products, and it's also new ideas, some people that are looking at building. It's a great time to build right now, great time to look at different floor plans," said Mark LeMense with the Home Builders Association. "It gives you a good variety of different ideas."

Organizers said more than 700 people toured the homes Saturday.

If you couldn't make it out this weekend, the tour continues this Thursday through Sunday.
