GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - If you've been meaning to buy a share of Green Bay Packers stock, you'd better hurry. The deadline to buy one is Wednesday at midnight.

A total of 280,000 shares were put up for sale. As of Feb. 14 the team fewer than 17,000 left. Team spokesman Aaron Popkey said Tuesday there are still shares available but he said he didn't know how many. He says the Wednesday deadline won't be extended.

Popkey also says he's not sure how many shares were sold in Canada after the team said last week that Canadians were now eligible to buy as well.

Each share costs $250, plus a $25 handling fee. The shares are essentially worthless, but holders can call themselves team owners and attend the annual stockholder meeting.
