GREEN BAY - Area agencies are already making preparations for the potential storm and hope drivers are doing the same.
However fans already in town for the Packers game are taking the news in stride.
For the Nutt family from Idaho, the potential for some bad weather doesn't worry them a bit.
"I've loved the Packers forever, for a long long time," explained Jim Nutt. "I'm from western Oregon, it rains. And you know, I live in Idaho, it snows. It’s just going to do what it’s going to do. Let's play ball."
In fact, nothing will keep this family out of Lambeau on Sunday.
"I'm really excited," said Cody Nutt.
Especially since this is Cody's first Packers game. It's all thanks to the Make a Wish Foundation.
"Snow, Packers and football?" FOX 11’s Beth Jones asked.
"Makes it all the better," Cody replied.
The weather may be the last thing on the minds of fans, but those at the Green Bay Transit Department are already keeping an eye on the storm.
"In 2011 we did not have a sloppy, Green Bay wintry day on game day, so this will be an actual test for us if this snow does come," explained Green Bay Transit director Tom Wittig.
Wittig expects ridership to be up on Sunday night because of the weather, but he's confident there won't be too many issues.
"The drivers are professional. They drive in this kind of stuff in the winter in Green Bay all the time," Wittig said.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department says it's too early to say whether it'll call in some extra help in for Sunday's game.
However, officials say if the weather does take a turn for the worse, they'll be ready.
