GREEN BAY - A light hearted battle took place at Lambeau Saturday between Wisconsin National Guard members and Green Bay Packers players.
It was the "Pros vs.GI Joes" inside the football stadium's atrium. The two sides went head to head playing video games online. The "Joes" were playing at the USO Center overseas. The game of the day? Call of Duty.
Packers players Marshall Newhouse, Ryan Taylor and Tom Crabtree all took part in the event.
"Anytime you're able to interact with the men and women who protect our lives, and give us the freedoms that we have, it's a special thing. And it's what we were kind of trying to do today is, as far away as they are, it's still cool to be able to interact," said Crabtree.
Members of the soldiers' families were on hand to witness the competition.
