GREEN BAY - Students and staff at Edison Middle School in Green Bay raised more than $3,000 to aid Superstorm Sandy victims.
It started with a bet.
Sixth grade teacher Justin Miller and the school's principal Jo Wiebel promised to shave their heads, if the goal were met.
And it was.
Miller had his head shaved during lunch with students watching.
He says he's proud of the students for helping others.
"It's just been a great opportunity for them to think beyond themselves and their own more narrow reality and to include and help others," said Miller.
A Red Cross representative received the $3,700 check.
