ASHWAUBENON - The holiday shopping season wouldn’t be complete without Black Friday deals. And this year, you'll get your chance earlier than ever before.

Shopko has announced it will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. It will re-open at 9 p.m. and remain open until 11 p.m. Friday.

The retail store opened at midnight last year.

Officials say they will offer more than 600 door buster deals.

Shopko Hometown stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The stores will open back up at 5 a.m. on Black Friday and remain open until 9 p.m.

Wal-Mart will also be opening earlier this year. The store is expected to open Thanksgiving Day at 8 p.m. That's two hours earlier than last year.
