DE PERE - St. Norbert students and staff gathered at the Old St. Joseph Church Wednesday morning.

It was to remember the lives lost in Newtown, Connecticut.

School officials say it's important to remember the power of prayer and community during times like these.

Twenty children and six adults were shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday.
