ASHWAUBENON - It was a Tiny Tree Trimming Throwdown right here at FOX 11.
Thursday morning on Good Day Wisconsin, three designers decorated three trees in the studio.
When the trees were finished, they were donated to area families of desert war veterans.
"We're trying to make sure their Christmases are taken care of," said Mark Bonovetz, Desert Veterans of Wisconsin. "By providing these trees for them, that they are able to enjoy a happy and joyous Christmas."
Organizers say they are also looking for presents to help the children of those three veterans.
Wrapped or unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at any Fox Communities Credit Union in Green Bay, Howard or De Pere.
They are for seven children, ages eight to 21.
