Sheriff’s officials don’t suspect foul play

HOWARD - Brown County sheriff’s officials don’t suspect foul play in the death of a two-month-old baby.

Officers and medical personnel were called early Thursday evening to a home daycare in the 2900 block of Brookview Dr. in Howard.

The caregiver told officials that after the child was awoken from his nap and was being carried, she noticed he appeared limp.

Authorities say the woman performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

The child was pronounced dead at the hospital Friday morning.

Sheriff’s officials say the incident remains under investigation.
