Velp Ave. ramp closed to SB U.S. 41

BROWN COUNTY - The Velp Avenue ramp to southbound U.S. 41 in Brown County is closed, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

In addition, drivers should expect southbound U.S. 41 to be reduced to a single lane today between Velp Avenue and Memorial Drive.

The closures are needed due to some road settlement resulting from a pipe crossing.

Both the ramp and closed lane are tentatively scheduled to reopen later this evening.

Motorists are being asked to find alternate routes.
