NEW JERSEY - Wisconsin Public Service crews are getting a firsthand look at the damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.
Eight workers from Northeast Wisconsin arrived in New Jersey Sunday evening.
The WPS crews started working Monday morning with another utility, National Grid, to restore natural gas lines.
WPS says the work has been challenging for crews. They'll be in the state for a total of 18 days.
WPS workers in the Garden State say they've been interacting with homeowners, some who are just looking for pieces of their past.
