1 killed in crash in Manitowoc County

TOWN OF TWO CREEKS - Update: Sheriff's officials have identified the man who died as Harold Radandt, 79, of Manitowoc.

One person was killed in a crash between an SUV and a semi in Manitowoc County just after noon Thursday.

Sheriff’s officials say the 79-year-old SUV driver ran a stop sign at Highway 42 while traveling west on Nuclear Road in the town of Two Creeks. The SUV then hit a semi headed north on Highway 42. The SUV driver, who was from Manitowoc, was thrown from the vehicle and fatally injured. The truck driver, a 28-year-old from Algoma, was not hurt.

A minivan was also damaged by debris from the crash.

Investigators have not released the names or genders of the people involved in the crash.
