MANITOWOC - The City of Manitowoc Fire Department is still investigating a fire at the Chermak Sausage Company plant.
Crews were dispatched Saturday around 4:30 a.m. to an out building at the corner of Calumet Avenue and South 30th streets.
Officials say the building was fully engulfed when they arrived on scene, and there were several large explosions.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Officials are continuing to look for the cause of the fire, and the explosions are of an undetermined cause.
The building is considered a total loss, but officials say they haven't received a damage estimate yet.
