SHEBOYGAN - A Sheboygan County teen charged with killing his great-grandmother will undergo a competency exam, a judge ruled Monday.
Antonio Barbeau, 13, allegedly killed Barbara Olson at her Sheboygan Falls home last month.
Police say Barbeau and his friend Nathan Paape, who is also charged, used a hatchet and a hammer to kill her.
Barbeau is scheduled to return to court Nov. 2 for his competency hearing. That’s the same day Paape returns to court.
