SHEBOYGAN - Former Sheboygan Mayor Bob Ryan will have to pay $200 in fines as part of a plea deal.
Ryan pleaded no contest to two counts of disorderly conduct earlier this week. The deal threw out two sexual assault charges.
Prosecutors said Ryan inappropriately touched a woman during a drinking party in 2011 in Elkhart Lake.
Ryan admitted he was there, but denies ever touching the alleged victim.
The former mayor said he agreed to the plea to avoid any more embarrassment to his family.
While prosecutors said the plea avoided putting the victim on the stand.
Ryan lost the position of mayor during a recall election last year.
