MANITOWOC - Two suspected drug dealers from Manitowoc were arrested Wednesday afternoon.
The Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit says the 32-year-old man and 25-year-old woman sold drugs to undercover officers several times.
Investigators arrested the two on Interstate 43 when they were allegedly on their way to Milwaukee to pick up heroin to be sold in Manitowoc. The two had about $2,000 in cash when they were arrested.
Officers also raided a home on S. 31st St. in Manitowoc where the undercover deals took place. They found several items for the use, packaging and distribution of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs. Police also found electronics, clothes and other items they think were stolen and traded for drugs. They also found counterfeit money and fake guns.
The two were expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon. Investigators say more people could be arrested.
