TOWN OF LIBERTY - About 120 head of cattle were killed as a result of a fire that destroyed a barn in Manitowoc County Friday morning.
Firefighters say 10 to 15 of the cows were killed in the blaze on Viebahn Road in the town of Liberty. While the rest got out of the barn, they had to be euthanized.
Firefighters are still investigating how it started. They believe it may have been burning for two hours before they were called around 4:45 a.m.
