Natural gas leak evacuates Manitowoc City Hall

MANITOWOC - Manitowoc City Hall was evacuated Wednesday afternoon due to a natural gas leak.

Fire officials say there was a problem in the boiler room which circulated natural gas and carbon monoxide into the building.

Wisconsin Public Service and an area contractor were called to the scene.

Employees and the public were let back into the building around 12:30 p.m.

No one was injured.
