ELLISON BAY - The auction last fall of a Door County mansion apparently didn't result in a sale.
Sur la Baie - Wisconsin's largest single-family residence - was up for auction in November. Hilco Real Estate, which handled the property, never returned FOX 11's calls to find out what happened with the auction. But, now the property has been re-listed with the reduced price of $8.75 million.
The website says the price is reduced from $19 million. The 43-room, 35,000-square-foot mansion overlooks Ellison Bay.
The 80-acre property - including the main house, beach house and guest house - sold for $18 million in 2005.
Editor's note: A previous version of this story had the number of rooms and thousand square footage numbers reversed. FOX 11 regrets the error.
