SHEBOYGAN - A 73-year-old woman was hurt after a Wednesday morning crash in Sheboygan.
Police say the woman was headed north on S. Taylor Drive in her van around 8:25 a.m. She drifted over to the east curb, driving up the curb and onto the grass. She hit a wooden traffic sign pole, tearing it out of the ground, then continued on and hit a power pole, snapping it in two and leaving part of the pole suspended from the lines. She kept moving, hitting the front porch and the corner of a house on the 2300 block of S. Taylor Drive. The van flipped over, landing on its hood in the driveway.
The woman was taken to the hospital. She was wearing her seat belt.
Police continue to investigate.
