MANITOWOC - UPDATE: The victims have been identified as Christopher Mark, 23, of Manitowoc, and Zachary Gates, 24, of Two Rivers. Autopsies are planned for Monday, with toxicology results expected in four to six weeks.

Our original report follows:

------

Two people are dead after a rollover crash in Manitowoc early Sunday morning.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. on 9th and Huron streets.

Police say four people were traveling northbound in a Cadillac on North 9th Street at a high speed and didn't stop at the stop sign at Huron Street. The car then struck a Chevrolet with three occupants in it.

Officials say the Cadillac then hit a snowbank and overturned and the other car ended up in a yard.

The Chevrolet's driver, a 23-year-old Manitowoc man, and one of his passengers, a 24-year-old Two Rivers man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The third passenger in the car, a 21-year-old Newton man, was flown to a Green Bay hospital with serious injuries.

The three passengers in the Cadillac were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the Cadillac's driver, a 21-year-old Manitowoc man, was not injured and taken to jail on two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and four other charges related to alcohol.

Manitowoc police are still investigating the crash.
