GREEN BAY - Green Bay police are investigating an overnight stabbing on the city's west side.
It happened around 11:15 pm Wednesday at Badger Park. A fight broke out and one female allegedly stabbed another in the neck. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening, police say.
Kimberly Bessey, 17, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and substantial battery.
According to the criminal complaint, several girls gathered at the park and a fight broke out regarding Bessey's boyfriend cheating on her with the victim. The victim, 19, told police she was stabbed in the neck.
In Wisconsin, those ages 17 and up begin criminal cases in adult court.
